A RADICAL DEMAND NEEDS A STRONG PLAN
European gas and oil purchases from Russia help fund the war in Ukraine to the tune of hundreds of millions of euros per day. This is unacceptable, but also very hard to stop on a short notice. It is the unfortunate result of decades of bad energy policy made at both EU scale as well as in member states. Here is our plan on how to cut our reliance on Russian gas and oil both in the short term, but also in the longer term. We are trying to take a pragmatic and realistic, yet politically ambitious and unapologetic, perspective to the crisis.​
